Darren DeBreé
Darren DeBreé began his professional drumming career in Southern California, right after high school. Darren has performed and recorded with a variety of musical acts, that span the styles of Rock, Funk, Jazz(Combo and Big Band), Fusion, Electronica and Reggae.
Some of the artists Darren has performed with, or appeared on recordings with include: Hectic Watermelon, Jerry Goodman (Mahavishnu Orch./Dixie Dregs),Mitchel Forman (John McLaughlin), Barry Coates (LA Session), Chis Farmer (The Beach Boys),Don Schiff(Elvis), Jerry Morrata(Peter Gabriel), Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson), Peter Sprague(Jazz Great), The California Guitar Trio, Reggie Hamilton(Session Great), Kevin Freebe(touring bassist for Planet- X),Tom Greisgraber and Emet Chapman to name a few.
In addition to headlining shows, Darren has appeared on local and network television, conducted clinics and operates the online music education website www.rhythmschool.com. Darren is also currently working on an upcoming series of instructional books, "Interdimensional Rhythms".
Darren’s educational background includes private study with Michael Barsimanto, Fred Dinkins, Mark Levine, Marco Minnemann, Joel Taylor, Chad Wackerman and Richard Wilson. Apart from private study, Darren also graduated from PIT and attended a Berklee College of Music summer session.
